Fun Dungeon | Clarence | Cartoon Network (by Cartoon Network)
watch this, (it’s worth it)
The team either did amazing research on play areas at fast food places or have incredible, vivid memories of what they were like because this really took me back. I mean it is spot on. Not to overshadow the fact that this is looking to be a good show, but I’m just so amazed at how accurate the portrayal of this was, hahaha.
WARNING: THE SON OF BATMAN MOVIE INCLUDES REFERENCES TO RAPE THAT ARE TRIVIALIZED AND PORTRAYED AS SEXY
I’m fucking shaking right now. They kept Morrison’s retconned rape storyline. No warning. Nothing. Just, oh by the way, remember when I raped you? Didn’t you think it was hot?
I’m going to fucking throw up they tried to make someone getting raped sexy and something that the victim enjoyed, i’m fucking disgusted and shaking with rage right now.
FUCK THIS SO MUCH
TALIA AL GHUL IS NOT A FUCKING RAPIST
AND RAPE IS NOT SOMETHING SEXY THAT THE VICTIM ENJOYS
Please spread the word so that other people know what they’re getting into before watching this movie and don’t get triggered.
I am so fucking pissed at this too. I don’t even have the words to express how angry this makes me. It’s like — like they tried giving fans both Morrison Talia and Pre-Morrison Talia at the same time. “But if Bruce enjoyed it, obviously it wasn’t rape!” That’s just — just — fucking hell gimme a minute or 12.
Okay, first of all. set aside the Pre- and Post-Morrison Talia debate. In the sphere of this one story, independent of character actions in the comics (because pre-Morrison Talia is not a rapist), who the fuck decided it was okay to trivialize rape? Not only that, but who the fuck decided that it would be cool to do that, and then who fucking looked at the script and approved it? Because someone had to come up with the story, and then someone else had to say, “Send it to production.”
